The FLI Brightwater Tertiary
Solids Filter is a highly
successful derivative from the floating media HSAF®.
Similar in construction to the HSAF®, the
unit also uses the BMax®
re-cycled plastic, floating filter media and features periodic media
bed
cleaning
cycles. These solids filtration units offer the following system
advantages:
- High quality effluent
Less than 10mg/l suspended solids.
- Effective cleaning
Automated cleaning cycle periodically removes excess sludge at a
frequency determined by the operator.
- Low power usage
The only internal power consumption is during the filter media cleaning
/
de-sludging cycle, during which the floating, recycled plastic media is
fluidised to faclitate the removal of accummulated excess solids.
- User Friendly
Proven, simple & robust process requires little maintenance.
- Flexible delivery
Available as package or bespoke systems. Package plant can be
purchased, hired or is available for demonstration units and is usually
available for immediate delivery from stock.
- Pricing options
Bespoke systems are
designed and manufactured to suit clients' site specific requirements.
The pre-packaged product is available in a range of four sizes. These
packaged units are available in stainless steel, carbon steel or GRP
construction and can be configured for installation above or below
ground.
- Treatment flexibility
A number of hybrid units have been installed with an adaptation to
allow the operator to select between solids filtration and biological
treatment modes. This is particularly useful for the mobile,
pre-packaged units, when they are purchased as temporary units to
ensure effluent compliance when the permanent process equipment is
undergoing maintenance.
